My Record book 3pt

I just wanted to share my trophy taken in Monroe County NY. I recently began my journey into the hunting world with the help of my "deer" friend Finn. He took me under his wing and showed me how to set up in the correct spots to see deer! He offers me valuable encouragement through frequent cell phone conversations while on stand.

This deer may not be big but the lessons learned from my mentor will only prove more valuable each year as my knowledge increases. I would like to thank my good buddy Finn for his patience with me. He even showed me the basics of measuring and judging deer based on antler size. I scored this buck at 16 inches. Finn estimates this deer will net 14 inches. Not bad for my first buck.
