Great Double for Mom and Dad

Tom Wills got his 8-point just less than a hour before Debbie Wills got hers on 11/18/12. He was on the far end of our 30 or so acres and she was in the middle.

His was pushed to him by another hunter slinging bullets by Dad's head from a stand just off our land (a whole 'nother story) but Dad dropped the deer with a neck shot and no holes from the other guy. Mom's walked up on her coming up a trail her ladder stand was on.

Dad used his famous 16 ga. Ithaca Featherwieght bird barrel gun that he has taken countless deer with over the last 40 yrs and Mom was using a Mossberg pump 20ga. Dad's was 210lbs live weight and Mom's was 186. Both of these were there biggest deer ever.

I'm attatching a pic of the deer I got in Powhatan, Va. on public land just a few days later on Thanksgiving morning. All 3 of us bagged our biggest deer ever in the same week! Their deer were killed in Newfane, NY - Niagara County.
