First Buck = First Archery Harvest

Michael Pagano arrowed this 8 point buck on 11/10/13 in Schenectady County at 10 a.m. The buck presented at 20 yds slightly quartering away from Loggy Bayou climber 12 ft up. The older Mathews MQ32 performed flawlessly in concert with Grim Reaper broad head to create a double lung pass through.

Buck was tracked for less than 150 yds. Measurements estimate buck at 3 1/2 yrs and the 44" chest circumference puts it in the 190-200 lbs dressed.

This harvest happened on the heels of a doe taken in St. Lawrence County 2 weeks prior with muzzleloader ending 12 year span of hunting without success.
